Our History

What the Lord has done has been miraculous, incredible, and life-changing for so many. To God be the glory!

Come and be a part of our history as the next chapter is written!

• March 30, 1997 - Official "Launch Sunday" of Richland Creek Community Church at Wake Forest Rolesville Middle School. 182 in attendance.
• June, 1997 - First baptism service (held at Falls Lake).
• December, 1998 - 19 acres of land was purchased on Burlington Mills Road, the site of our present campus.  20 acres has been purchased since.
• June, 2001 – Ground broken for Phase I, a 38,000 square-foot multi-use facility.
• September 8, 2002 – The celebration and dedication of our new facility.
• January 15, 2006 - Moved to three Sunday morning service times.
• May 21, 2006 - Legacy Building Campaign begins.
• October 13, 2008 - Legacy Phase One: Parking Lot Expansion begins.
• January 17, 2010 - Moved to four Sunday morning service times.
• August 28, 2011 - Church family overwhelmingly votes to move forward in construction of Legacy building, with the goal of making space available to reach thousands with the Gospel in our communities and around the world!
