Seniors Ministry

The writer of Hebrews tells us, “Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near” (Heb. 10:25, NASB).

The Richland Creek Seniors Ministry exists to reach senior adults and the community with the gospel of Christ and assist them as they grow into the man or woman God created them to be! The mission of our seniors' fellowship at the Creek is to make disciples that make disciples. We seek to accomplish our purpose through Bible Study, prayer, and community. We believe our seniors are a vital part of the body of Christ. We invite you to join us as we encourage one another to love and good works.

Life Groups

The heart of Richland Creek’s Seniors’ Ministry is encounter with the Word of God. On Sunday mornings the Creek offers a variety of Life Groups where we study the Bible and experience loving gospel community. God's Word is a priority in the life of the Church and central to everything we do at the Creek.

Our seniors belong to Life Groups all over Richland Creek. To see a full list of available groups, click here.

Socials/Fellowship

One of the ways we promote gospel community is through special times of fellowship. You are invited to join us at our monthly Fellowship Breakfasts, quarterly Wisdom for all Ages luncheons, and annual Fall retreat, as well as many other special times throughout the year.

Monthly Fellowship Breakfast at the Wake Forest Golden Corral is the third Saturday of the month, every month from January through October, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Don’t forget to ask for the special Richland Creek discount!

Wisdom for All Ages. Join us for a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word at our quarterly luncheons in the Creek’s Family Life Center (cost $5 per person for lunch). Our next luncheon is on Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. Dates for 2019 luncheons will be posted soon.

Our 2019 Seniors Fall Retreat will be at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, N.C., from Oct. 21-23. Registration will open in late summer, so check back!
