Requirements to Serve:

1. Must be a current member of the Creek or have regularly attended the Creek (either visiting or serving capacities) for at least four months.

2. Must complete the interest form below in order to receive an email with the application.

3. Must complete the application, online training, Safety Policies, in-person interview (or over the phone), and pass a background check and reference check.

4. Once complete, you will be notified that you are able to serve.

Multiple opportunities to serve elementary children and their families by teaching the greatest truths they will ever hear.

Elementary Lead Teacher (Life Group & Wednesday Night)

Time Commitment: One-year commitment with a minimum of 4 hours per week (2 hr lesson prep time at home preparing the weekly lesson using the curriculum provided, 1 ½ hrs class time on Sunday with their class, & ½ hr praying over the class during the week). 

Requirements:

• Be a member or have started the membership process.
• Must have approved background check.
• Willingness to be trained.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare a lesson during the week at home using the curriculum provided.
• Communicate with the Children’s Pastor any needs for the lesson or classroom.
• Openness to constantly assess Worship in order to build a better avenue to teach children the truth.
• Teach a lesson in the classroom using effective, fun & engaging, age-appropriate techniques.
• Communicate with parents, giving encouraging feedback about their student (in conjunction with Children’s Pastor) at least once a month.
• Develop relationships with others in order to cover the responsibilities in case of an absence. 

Elementary Assistant Teacher (Life Group & Wednesday Night)

Time Commitment: One-year commitment with a minimum of 2.5 hours per week (½  hr lesson prep time at home preparing the weekly lesson using the curriculum provided, 1 ½ hrs class time on Sunday with their class, & ½ hr praying over the class during the week).

• Be a member or have started the membership process.
• Must have approved background check.
• Willingness to be trained.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read through a lesson in order to understand the concepts. 
• Communicate with the Children’s Pastor any needs for the lesson or classroom.
• Openness to constantly assess Worship in order to build a better avenue to teach children the truth.
• Willingness to teach a lesson in the classroom using effective, fun & engaging, age-appropriate techniques in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
• Working with Lead Teacher, communicate with parents, and giving encouraging feedback about their student (in conjunction with the Children’s Pastor) at least once a month.
• Develop relationships with others in order to cover the responsibilities in case of an absence.

Creek Kids Worship Assistant (K-3rd Grade, 4/5 Worship)

Time Commitment: One-year commitment with a minimum of 2 hours per week (1 ½ hrs class time on Sunday with their class, & ½ hr praying over the class during the week).

Requirements:

• Must have approved background check.
• Willingness to be trained.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engage with children throughout the service, building relationships. 
• Communicate with the Children’s Pastor any needs.
• Openness to constantly asses Worship in order to build a better avenue to teach children the truth.
• Willingness to dance, sing, and play games.
• Assist Worship Lead with drop-off, pick-up, bathroom, etc.
