OUR VISION

The Preschool and Elementary Ministry of Richland Creek seeks to teach children to Love God and Love Others while partnering with parents in the Biblical Discipleship of their children.

We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments. (Psalm 78:4-7)

FIRST TIME?

We want you and your children to have a safe and fun experience if you are visiting Richland Creek for the first time, and want your children to participate in the Creek Kids ministry.

Check-In Process

Simply use your 10 digit phone number to check in with us. If you are not already in our database, one of our servants will take you through the short process of getting you added. You will be prompted to check in your children for the hours they will be with us by selecting the appropriate class. Printed off will be matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. Your child will need to wear their name-tag while you keep the guardian tag. When you return to pick up your child, simply show your tag to one of our classroom servants for your child’s dismissal.

Richland Creek supports / encourages parents who wish to take their children into the main worship service. We offer a children’s worship guide that can be requested when the parent receives their worship guide before entering the worship center. This children’s guide is designed for them to interact with the worship service and encourage future questions and discipleship.

NURSERY

The Nursery Ministry at Richland Creek strives to show babies and toddlers the love of Jesus through His Word, introducing them to The Bible, while keeping them safe and well cared for. Our desire is to love and encourage each family in discipleship by being a resource for them.

On Sunday mornings and evenings, parents are greeted by trained servants who will get all needed information for your child to have the best and safest time possible. Within the class, your child will be held, sung to, played with, and loved on while learning God’s Word. Every child is checked and changed during each service hour and will be fed according to your schedule. Please include any snacks you wish your child to have and label everything with your child’s name.

Each hour, the children, under the age of two, will be offered snacks if they seem hungry. You may pack a snack in your child’s bag. Please do not pack anything with peanuts or peanut butter. If the servant finds that in your bag, the child will be offered either Cheerios or Rice Chex. Thank you for helping us protect the allergies in our nursery classes.

PRESCHOOL

Creek Kids Preschool Ministry exists to partner with parents in laying a spiritual foundation for your child. We teach children from ages 2-Pre-K during all of our Sunday morning services using the Gospel Project. As part of the 10:30 service, 3yr old-Pre-K will travel to GIGL (Growing in God’s Love) Church. A special worship service just for them. We would love to serve your family in the care and teaching of your preschooler!

Sunday Mornings
On a Sunday morning, your child will receive loving care by trained servants. Their passion is to teach your preschooler the truths found in God’s Word through “The Gospel Project” curriculum. The same lesson will be taught during all Sunday service hours; this is done purposefully because preschoolers need repetition. This repetition will help your child remember what he/she was taught.

KINDERGARTEN-3RD GRADE

In the Kindergarten - 3rd grade Elementary Ministry we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching children about the nature and character of God in creative environments that are safe and fun. We look forward to seeing you at any of our Sunday programs.

Creek Kids Worship
Creek Kids Worship (CKW) is a weekly children’s service for Kindergarten - 3rd grade children. CKW takes place on Sundays at 10:30am. Children are taught in an exciting and engaging atmosphere where Biblical truths are presented in a variety of ways: games, Bible lesson, songs, videos, and sometimes puppets. The teaching follows in line with the Life Group weekly lesson to help each child further understand what God has to say about that particular Bible story. Bring your Bible and a smile; join us this Sunday in CKW.
Life Groups
Kindergarten-3rd grade Elementary Life Groups meet on Sundays at 9 am. With dedicated and loving teachers, our aim is to encourage and grow a child's relationship with Christ. Using Lifeway’s “The Gospel Project” curriculum our classes help children dig deep into God's Word in an atmosphere where they feel a sense of belonging. Get ready to be equipped with foundational Bible knowledge and the tools needed to live a life for Christ.

4th & 5th Grade

Creek Kids 4/5 is a ministry intended to bridge students in 4th & 5th Grade to middle school. Students will learn how to have a relationship with Jesus, grow in their Christian walk, and learn how to share their faith with those in their church, school, and community. We accomplish this by providing a safe and engaging place for students to be discipled using God's Word and prayer as our main tools.

Discovery Pointe

Sundays at 5:00 PM

Creek Kids desires to see children grow in their love for God and their love for others. Because of this, a new program has been developed. Discovery Pointe is a curriculum created by the Creek Kids Leadership team and select parents. Its goal is to not only teach children important truths found in God’s Word, but lead the teachers deeper into their understanding. Each month children will memorize a Bible verse and learn about a missionary partnership Richland Creek has, all in a fun and safe environment.
