OCC Collection Week

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through a gift-filled shoebox. Each box packed with quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.

Pick up a shoe box in the front lobby of the Worship Center

(Sunday, October 19 - Sunday, November 16)

Drop off all shoe boxes in the front lobby of the Worship Center

(Sunday, October 26 - Sunday, November 23).

This year, we are serving as an area collection hub for OCC boxes. This means that our church will receive filled shoeboxes from other churches, pack them in larger boxes and pallets, and get them ready to ship to a large Samaritan's Purse regional center. We need servants to help receive, sort, and load these boxes.

  • There are daily shifts, so everyone who wants to serve should be able to find a time to fit their schedule. People can serve once, several times, or even every day that week if they'd like.
  • There are multiple roles in each shift, so serving is not limited to folks who can lift heavy boxes. We need lifters but also people to count, sort, and greet.

Maybe you can "adopt a shift" by encouraging all of your folks to sign up for the same day and time. Serving together is a great way to grow in community.

Registration for Volunteering is coming soon.
