Requirements to Serve:

1. Must be a current member of the Creek or have regularly attended the Creek (either visiting or serving capacities) for at least four months.

2. Must complete the interest form below in order to receive an email with the application.

3. Must complete the application, online training, Safety Policies, in-person interview (or over the phone), and pass a background check and reference check.

4. Once complete, you will be notified that you are able to serve.

Opportunities:



• Teacher or assistant at 9:00 or 10:30 in our Special Friends classes (ages: preschool, elementary, youth, and adult)
• Be a buddy to a student(s) in their life group at 9:00 or 10:30. Note: all Sunday morning opportunities are available from weekly, bi-weekly, 1 time per month or fill-in only. We work with your schedule! Serve at a Community Respite (open to public) or Parent Dinner (RCCC families only)
• 2-3 hours
• Help setup/clean-up
• Be paired with a student with special needs or a typically developing sibling
• On call nurses to be present for respite
• Be willing to be on an “emergency” list to fill-in (as a buddy or classroom assistant) if we have an unexpected volunteer absence on Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 10:30.
